Once in approximately every 30 years each Mark Province is requested to hold a fund raising Festival to contribute funds to the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons Benevolent Fund. The Mark Province of East Anglia 2013 Festival will conclude with a celebratory dinner to be held at the Norfolk Showground on the 21st September 2013. This event will be the conclusion of several years of targeted fund raising by the Mark Province of East Anglia, and we hope to raise a sum in the region of £500,000.

The object of the website is to raise funds for the 2013 Festival by the sale of second-hand Regalia to M.M.M’s irrespective of whether they are members of the Province of East Anglia. The fund makes donations, which provide major benefits to our local community both by supporting National Institutions and especially by making grants to local services.

In recent years £3M has been donated to the Osteoporosis Society and £1.6M to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. In our own Region of East Anglia, a number of local bodies have been supported including:
- St John Ambulance Brigade - £111,000
- Local Hospices - £1,000 per Hospice
- Cancer Treatment: Addenbrookes Hospital - £112,000: Da Vinci Robot - £325,000

All the regalia shown on the site has been donated by brethren from Lodges within the Province for free and in order to support the Festival fund, we do not purchase new goods for resale and all proceeds received from the sale of items are donated to the fund. There are no charges made for providing the site or the supply of items, so you have the knowledge that any item bought will be resulting in a 100% donation to the fund.

As it is intended to sell items at a much lower price than that of the new purchase price, it is hoped that by utilising the site to purchase your regalia, not only will you reduce the cost of purchase to yourself, you will also be ensuring that the regalia of former Brethren will not be lost or wasted.

Those of you wishing to purchase goods may order from what is available by clicking the “Order” link and selecting the item that you require. Goods may be collected, delivered or posted as arranged. In the case of posting the buyer will be liable for the additional postage cost. Payment may be made by cheque, payable to the Mark 2013 Festival.

What you can do to Support the 2013 Festival

The Festival will only be a success if we all support the events and contribute what we can to the Festival Fund. We do appreciate that every Mark Master Mason in East Anglia is a member of one or more of the Craft Province’s within our Region and these Provinces, and all of the other Orders in Freemasonry to which you may belong, make calls on your charitable giving. Please do all that you can to support this 2013 Festival as it is the opportunity for us to give something back to the Mark Benevolent Fund from which our Region has received significant benefit and will continue to do so in the years ahead.
